The Villa Lara is a 4 star brand new boutique hotel in the historic centre of Bayeux, set in a very quiet square “ Place de Quebec” facing the 11th century majestic cathedral and along the Aure River, the famous Bayeux Tapestry is 2 minutes away, the pick up point of all D Day excursions is literally at the door.

The 28 elegantly appointed rooms in a French style with 8 different colour schemes, all the furniture is made by Moissonnier a well known company founded in 1885,  its French cabinetmaking skills have been passed on down the generations, bringing the past to life with light touches... suggesting without imposing... breathing new life into traditions to make the present feel magical again, and creating jewellery for the hotel while cultivating an offbeat style: such is the spirit of Moissonnier today.
All the rooms are equipped with air conditioning, mini bars, large flat screens and in room safes. They all have a view on the Bayeux Cathedral. The hotel has a lift.
The marbled bathrooms have both showers and bathtubs in most of the rooms.
The rooms range from 322 to 495 square feets. Beddings are minimum 1.80m x 2m and in most of the rooms can be up to 2mx2m
The hotel features a cosy bar/lounge area with a fire place an a library, a marbled lobby a meeting room and a breakfast room set in a traditional French style cuisine where the breakfast  will be prepared and served in front of the guest.
A fitness center is available on site and is complimentary to hotel guests equipments include a treadmill, bicycle and strength training machines.
