In a nutshell, as the saying goes, my clients loved the trip. To be brief, the first guide in Carcassone was very good-they liked him, but not as great as the guide in Provence. They thought she was very very knowledgeable and so enjoyed her. In the south of France, they really liked the driver/guide. I think they thought it was fine that he might not have been the most scholarly because of the location. BUT all in all-I feel they really loved the trip, and thought it was a big success. Look forward to working with you in the future.
Again, thank you and I look forward to doing other trips with you. Nancy Polley
Franca Di Spigna / Valerie Wilson Travel / Virtuoso,
Hi Lydie,
Mr. and Mrs. Kolb and her mom, Mrs. Murdoch had a great time. Here is the feedback from her that I wanted to share with you:
“We loved our tour guides, and drivers. Corrine in Paris was amazing, full of knowledge and stories of "pop culture" history, like Marie Antoinette! Such fun. The trip to Fontainebleau and shopping in the Marais District, was definitely my favorite part of the trip!! (due in large part to our guide).
Our best dinner was at a tiny Parisian bistro, called La Petite Columbia, next to the hotel. Unforgettable!”
Once again, thank you for taking such great care of our clients.
Best, Franca

Dear Andre,
I wanted to pass along the wonderful praise I received about Rose, the Hogan's guide.
Thank you again for your assistance with this booking.
Best Regards, Lisa
“Lisa",
Our trip was great. The hotel in Paris was good value for the money. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the lobby lounge comfortable and attractive. The rooms were a bit small and basic but comfortable beds and the availability of the lobby lounges made up fit he room size.
The Chateau in Bessiion was fantastic Highly recommended I would go back there in a flash. It has an outdoor heated swimming pool, beautiful grounds and rooms, Good food and also a friendly and helpful staff.
The real highlight of the trip was Rose, our guide. She was terrific. Friendly, good sense of humor and extremely knowledgable about the entire region. Planned the Normandy beaches tours so then we ended up at the American Cemetery with time to visit and witness the lowering of the flag complete with a 21 gun salute and the playing of taps while looking over 9,000+ graves and Omaha Beach, Very moving and not to be forgotten. My wife and I highly recommend her.
Best Regards,
David”

Bertrand,
I want to take a moment to tell you what a fantastic job Emily de Clermont has done on a very
last minute request. My clients are enroute to Paris and Emily was able
to get everything they requested - with lots of changes - confirmed before they checked in for their flight.
My client, Brenda Spira, is traveling with her 10 year old daughter, Laura, plus two other adult family members.
I know they will be in good hands when they arriving in Bordeaux tomorrow morning.
Please thank Emily personally for me.
Cobéa is a slick new restaurant by friends Jerome Cobou and Philippe Bellissent, who won a Michelin star when he cooked at the L'Hôtel.
It opened in Montparnasse in the Paris’s 14th district to excellent reviews.
Cobéa epitomises contemporary French fine dining - a kind of casual chic that celebrates gastronomy without the snobbery.
Set in a renovated 1920s house with big windows overlooking a green space, it feels peaceful and cosy, while the muted décor and little touches like silverware and Bernardaud porcelain are very much luxury.

The most magnificent vestiges of the Palaeolithic era in France, if not in Europe, are concentrated along the Vézère valley in Perigord, also known as the "Valley of Mankind" and included on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Dinner in a private Chateau in the village of Menerbes. What can one say except, Wow!
Today is the last day in a short, but dense, one week trip for the High Museum of Art's Director Circle. A week of private visits, luncheons, cocktails and dinners...magical! The group of 28 enjoyed the Exclusive events that they were able to share and the adventure that was trying to get to some of the places where a bus could not go...walking in the Aix countryside on the footsteps of Cezanne, going to the top of the village of Menerbes by bus, then by shuttle bus and finishing on foot (no other way there!) to dine with the Mayor of the village!
This exhibition presented untill the 16th of September 2012 at the Arts Décoratifs in Paris reveals the story of two personalities, Louis Vuitton and Marc Jacobs (creative director of Louis Vuitton) and their contributions to the world of fashion. How did they take part in their respective time to innovate and advance an entire industry? How these two men, with their own language, would take phenomena and cultural codes in order to write the history of fashion?
Analytic Rather than retrospective , this comparison between Vuitton & Jacobs provides insights into the fashion system during these two periods are hinges of industrialization of the late nineteenth century and the globalization of the early twenty-first century. Are discussed crafts, technical advances, the stylistic and creative artistic collaborations. Deployed on two levels, each floor dedicated to one of the creators in a scenography of Sam Gainsbury and Joseph Bennett.
