Rebecca Wright / Crusoe & son / June 2011

Hello Andre,

Below is the evaluation that we received from Steed/Furno.  As you can see, they had a wonderful time!
In Dordogne our guide, Christine was surpurb. She was an archiologist with her advanced degree in prehistoric caves. Perfect. Dordogne was the most beautiful area of France we have visited. Her driver Philippe was great and drives Rick Steves throughout France. Arnaud in Carcassone was a gem. Rebecca had selected the BEST suites for us in all three locations. And the food...to die for. :-) Christine added to our itinerary making it a perfect venue.
I cannot think of anything that could have improved the journey except that most afternoons were dreadfully hot. No one can change that but the heat was unexpected.
I believe the highlight would be Sarlat and the entire Dordogne area. Christine added the cave Couiac (mispelled) which was magical. We visited four caves in total for the prehistoric art. We never appreciated such history before, but Saturday saw the movie "Cave of Forgotten Dreams" in 3-D here in Indianapolis. I am eager to read Christine's book "Stepping Stones" which I purchased in France.
Our expectations were more than we imagined.
